FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

And if yours isn’t here, ask us on the waitlist.

01Getting started

Do I need to install anything?

No. Arcade opens in the browser, on a computer or a phone.

What do I need?

An up-to-date browser, a microphone and, if you like, a camera. Today, also Google Workspace to sign in.

What language is the office in?

Spanish, for now. This site is in English, but the office itself isn’t yet. If your team needs it, tell us on the waitlist.

What if my company doesn’t use Google Workspace?

Email-code sign-in is on the way. Join anyway and we’ll let you know.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, upright and one-thumbed. For long workdays, a computer is better; to catch a meeting from the grocery line, the phone is perfect.

How long until my office is ready?

In the pilot we set it up with you. Once you can sign up from the site, under ten minutes.

02Using it

Do I have to keep my camera on all day?

No. Camera and mic go on when you want, and anyone who’s working joins conversations with their mic off.

How many people fit in a conversation?

Up to 8. In a meeting room, as many as fit in the room. In a webinar, up to 100 attendees.

Can my clients come in?

Yes, with a link, no account and nothing to install. They wait in a waiting room with your logo and only see their room.

Can we use our own brand?

Yes: your logo goes at the entrance, at reception and on everything your guests see.

Can the flamethrower be turned off?

Yes. And even when it’s on, it respects “do not disturb”. Nobody has been hurt, except their pride.

03Wellbeing

Does Arcade make people stay online all day?

No, and it was designed for the opposite, with Mexico’s NOM-035-STPS-2018 in mind. Outside their hours, the office sends nobody notifications and gives no tokens, it tells you once when your workday ends, and nobody gains anything by staying late.

Is attendance for monitoring people?

No. Everyone sees their own workday, which only shows what went well. Admins see the team dashboard, and the welcome tour explains to each person what’s measured and who sees it. Nothing hidden, no leaderboard.

Does Arcade make us compliant with NOM-035?

Arcade helps, but the standard asks things of your company that no tool can do for it: a policy, identifying risks and acting on them. Arcade is built not to work against you.

04Recording and privacy

Are hallway conversations recorded?

Never. Only room meetings and webinars, and nobody gets recorded without knowing: a notice before entering, a sound when it starts and a constant indicator.

Where do recordings go?

To your company’s Drive and attached to the Calendar event (with Google Workspace). The audio used for the transcript is deleted when it’s done.

Do you use my meetings to train AI?

No. Neither we nor the services that do the transcript (OpenAI) and the minutes (Claude, by Anthropic): what we send them through their business services isn’t used to train models. They may keep it for up to 30 days to prevent abuse, and then delete it.

Where is the data?

On servers in the United States. Each company is its own world: nobody sees another’s office.

05Tokens

Are tokens money?

No. They can’t be exchanged for money or transferred, they’re never taken away and they never count toward evaluating anyone. They’re for the shop and the team goal.

Do I have to pay for my avatar to look like me?

No. Whatever reflects who you are is free. Tokens are for the cowboy hat.

06Price

How much does it cost?

Launch price: USD 7.50 per person a month ($140 MXN with VAT in Mexico), from 5 people, with a 6-month minimum term.

Are there features that cost extra?

No. Every level has everything; only the size of the office changes. The only extra is additional recording hours.

Do you issue invoices?

Yes, including Mexican tax invoices (CFDI).

07Who we are

Who makes Arcade?

Play.Interactive, in Mexico. It’s been our office every day since September 2026, so anything that doesn’t work, we suffer first.

We’re opening a pilot.

A few companies, setup done together, a direct line to the people who build it and a preferential price forever. Join and we’ll write to you.
